Vote Every Day, It’s easy!

Hi everyone! We need your help! The O’Schraves have entered the CBC Searchlight competition and we need your votes. It’s easy (just a click of a button!) so if you have one spare minute and would like to help us out please vote for « Little Log Cabin » by « The O’Schraves »!! The song we have chosen to feature in the Searchlight Contest is Zach’s composition « Little Log Cabin », which he wrote for his fiancée Hollie…and they are getting married this year! Imagine if we could get to the national finals with their song all over the CBC! It features Zach playing his own handcrafted guitar, his brother Benoit and sister Áine singing harmony and playing fiddles, and Mom Julie and evil stepdad Pat adding their usual more-than-two-cents worth on piano and flute.

REMINDER: AlgomaTrad Trivia Night Fun-draiser, Saturday, April 5

Just a reminder that the annual AlgomaTrad Trivia Night Fun-draiser is occurring on Saturday, April 5, at the Bar River Hall, and it is being sponsored once again by Steamwhistle! Thanks to Lindsey and Tim at Steamwhistle who are so accommodating… check out our news post from last year about this time and you’ll see the Steamwhistle truck visiting us here at the old Sourgrass and Granite Homestead.
