Scottish Country Dance Learning Session, January 2020

single post

AlgomaTrad is inviting beginners to come out and learn some basics of Scottish Country Dancing Jan 7, 14, and 21st from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Gordon Lake Hall. This will be an opportunity to have fun and to learn in an inclusive social setting. (Click HERE to see an example of Scottish Country Dancing). Please call 705 782 4311 if you are interested in participating.

And on Jan. 14th, also at the Gordon Lake Hall, artist Miranda Bouchard will be leading the Community Colours project, an opportunity to help embroider large, patchwork banners made of reclaimed and recycled fabrics that were naturally dyed during AlgomaTrad 2019. No experience is required! All are welcome to participate; very young folks are encouraged to bring an adult helper.
