Abe Zettek
Abe Zettek has been carving wood in some form since he was a young child, but only in recent years has he turned his attention to the sloyd – or greenwood working – tradition. When he is not producing spoons, cups, shrink pots, and other wooden wares, he can be found dividing his time between a small maple syrup business, playing a variety of musical instruments, canoeing or snowshoeing the boreal wilderness, and interpreting early 19th century life at Fort St. Joseph National Historic Site.
