AlgomaTrad Spring Family Dance, Sunday, May 4, 2PM
We are holding a Springtime family contra/square dance (we hope it’s spring by then!) on Sunday, May 4th, starting at 2:00PM until 5:00pm. Location: Legion Hall, Richards Landing. Special for this dance, we’ll start with dances and singing games for smaller children ages 4-7 and their parents and families, from 2 – 2:30. Since Benoit and Zach are away, Québecois Band « MIL » (Claude Méthé , Dana Whittle and Denise Levac – all past instructors at AlgomaTrad and, as well, members of Dentdelion) will be on hand to provide the music! As usual, we will have our fabulous Caller Dan Gorno. $10/Adults, $5/ Students. Beginners Welcome of course.
The O’Schraves Make it to the Regional CBC Searchlight FINALS
Searchlight is down to 10 bands in our region and only 230 across Canada, including The O’Schraves in the Northeast Ontario region as well as Julie Fitzgerald in the Ottawa region.
