David is organic to the very nature of the group RéVeillons!. Tradition is deep within his skin since he fell into it when he was little. With his unique voice, David carries a vast repertoire of songs from his family. Passionate about history and the French language, he is the only singer in Quebec to have learned the English concertina under the pretext that the instrument in question was commissioned by the Gray Nuns in the 19th century! A self-taught researcher, he is always looking for a new song to add to his repertoire. In addition to Réveillons!, David has recorded and performed with the groups Les frères Berthiaume and Le grand char allégorique and many other various traditional groups where a particular and original sound is required.

David, c’est la nature en personne et la matière première du groupe. La tradition, il l’a dans la peau puisqu’il est tombé dedans lorsqu’il était petit. Avec sa manière tout à fait particulière de chanter, David est porteur d’un vaste répertoire de chants issus de sa famille. Passionné d’histoire et de langue française, il est le seul au Québec à avoir appris le concertina English sous prétexte que l’instrument en question fut commandé par les soeurs grises au XIXe siècle. Chercheur autodidacte, il est toujours à la recherche d’une nouvelle chanson à ajouter à son répertoire. En plus de Réveillons!, David évolue au sein des gruopes Les frères Berthiaume et Le grand char allégorique et a participé à plusieurs enregistrements avec diverses formations où l’on demande une sonorité particulière et originale.
