Lucas Candelino is a 12-year-old boy from Barrie, Ontario who has been playing the violin since he was 4 years old.  Though he is currently working on grade 10 Royal Conservatory and loves to play with the Huronia Symphony Orchestra, he is a fiddler at heart.  He is honoured to have won all of the fiddle competitions he has entered over the past four years in his age category in Chelmsford, Tavistock, Ottawa, the Maritimes, Pembroke, and the Canadian Open in Shelburne!  Whether it’s jamming in the fiddle park, working out an arrangement, or playing at camp contra dances, Lucas’ favourite part of being in this wonderful music community is getting to play with others…like tonight!
