AlgomaTrad Community Dance, Friday, April 11, Bruce Station Hall

Join us at the Bruce Station Hall for an all-ages Community Ceili Dance on Friday, April 11, 7:00pm (please note the recent change). The dance will feature live traditional music, with called contra and square dances, in addition to a few waltzes! Caller is Rod Martin. Music for the event will be provided by musicians from near and far, including Raymond Schryer, Julie Schryer, Pat O’Gorman and some of our AlgomaTrad fiddlers and musicians!

The dances are beginner-friendly, everyone is welcome with no experience necessary. There will be an introduction to basic dance moves at 7pm, which will progress into the dance.

This event is ‘pay what you can’, by donation at the door(suggested $15). Please bring a water bottle, and some comfortable shoes for dancing in. Snacks to share are always welcome too – please label with ingredients! We look forward to seeing you!

An AlgomaTrad Tune Session will occur prior to the dance at 6pm. All welcome to join or just to listen!
