AlgomaTrad Presents Lotus Wight, in Concert, Saturday, April 5, Desbarats

single post

AlgomaTrad is pleased to announce a concert by multi-instrumentalist and singer Lotus Wight. Lotus plays banjo, guitar, contrabass-harmoniphoneum and jaw harps. He sings original songs that sound like they’ve been sprung from the Library of Congress and his collection of old songs is painstakingly curated to delight and entertain. Lotus has been a performer and instructor at the AlgomaTrad Family Camp and performed a sold-out show several years ago in Richards Landing with Sheesham and Lotus.

The concert will occur at IJE’s Place, 4 Lake Huron Dr., Desbarats ON, on Saturday, April 05, 7:30PM. This is a small and intimate venue with limited seating so will likely sell-out. Tickets are $20 (+hst) and are  available HERE. Arrangements can be made to have supper before the show – please call IJE’s at 249-479-0130 for reservations.

“To witness a performance by Lotus Wight is equal in marvel to the reading of a good book which you absolutely cannot put down. His passion for the music shines through every string and every phrase as he manages to captivate his audience in a fashion rarely witnessed in today’s musical age.” Meredith Moon-Recording Artist-Compass Records, Nashville
