Song Sharing Circle & Chansons à Répondre w/ Les Anges, February 23
single post
Join us on Sunday, February 23, 2-5pm at the Blind River Curling Club for an afternoon of song-sharing led by Les Anges, a francophone musical group based in Blind River. The workshop will include chansons à répondre, a traditional song structure with a deep connection to French Canadian culture (usually called “call and response” in English). All are welcome to drop in, listeners too!
If you have any questions, feel free to call 705-943-9127 or email tori@algomatrad.ca.
In the morning on February 23, Isabelle Michaud is leading a bilingual mixed-media visual art workshop from 10am-1:30pm, also at the Blind River Curling Club. Click here to learn more about it!
