Marie to present award-winning children’s performer Hannah Shirah Naiman at the Sault Community Theatre Centre (CTC), Sunday June 04 at 2pm. Hannah’s first CD, “Savez-vous plantez des choux?” was distributed to more than 10,000 babies across Ontario as part of the Early Years Literacy Kit. “Here We Go Zodeo”, a CD recorded with Kathy Reid-Naiman, was awarded a 2012 Parents’ Choice Gold Award and was nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award and a SiriusXM Indie Award.

Hannah was the recipient of a 2017 Canadian Folk Music Association Award for Traditional Singer of the Year and her 2021 recording “Ca suffit pour s’amuser” was nominated for Best Children’s Album at that year’s CFMA Awards.

Hannah has taught at the AlgomaTrad Family Camp and presented online programs for hundreds of local children in 2021 for the Algoma District School Board’s French as a Second Language Program.
