More Trees Planted at the AlgomaTrad Centre!

single post

With funding from the Government of Canada through the Forests Ontario 50 Million Tree Program, AlgomaTrad created a plan with REGEN Forestry and now has 6000 new trees planted on the land at the AlgomaTrad Centre.  A big thank you goes out to Peetrylia Wreggit and Brent Attwell and their crew from REGEN, Peter Gagnon from Forests Ontario, and all the other helpers who worked so hard.  We look forward to the planting of another 800 Tamarack seedlings through this program in 2022!

PLUS with generous help from AlgomaTrad volunteers Bruce McLeish, Margaret Carruthers, Julie Corcoran, Suzanne Lefebvre, and the Adam and Becky Hodgson Family, we planted 100 hardwoods and a selection of fruit trees. Thank you to all for helping to grow the AlgomaTrad Centre communally!  We can’t make it happen without you!
