A bookbinder, conceptualist, multidisciplinary artist, naturalist, and arts educator, Matt Ceolin has maintained bookbinding in one way or another as a major component of his studio work for over 20 years. Though his practice spans a wide spectrum of media, Matt has consistently run a small book press through which numerous short edition book work titles/artists books have been released and are now held in both private and public collections worldwide. Additionally the press has provided binding services to collectors, film, and private commissions. Matt has offered numerous bookbinding workshops over the years in both Canada and Europe and is passionate about passing on the skills and traditions of this important craft.
