AlgomaTrad After School Arts & Music Program, May/June 2018
AlgomaTrad, with the support of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge North Channel and the Township of St. Joseph, is hosting a 5-week After School Arts & Music session for children ages 6 – 12, which will occur Mondays 3:30 to 5:30pm, starting May 14, then May 28, June 4, 11, and 18 (no session holiday Monday, May 21). Three workshops will be offered: Woodworking Projects and learning how to use hand tools for ages 9-12 with Rodney Martin; Choir for children of all ages with Aaron Fisher; Learn Music Basics on the Tin Whistle for ages 6-8 and Learn Music Basics on the Tin Whistle for ages 9-12, with Pat O’Gorman. Music workshops occur at the St. Joseph Island Public School. Woodworking occurs at the Tranter Memorial Park Rink Building. Parents are welcome to come as volunteer helpers.
