AlgomaTrad Auction 2017

single post

The annual AlgomaTrad Live and Silent Auction will occur on Thursday evening, August 17, 7:00 PM at the Legion Hall in Richards Landing. The proceeds from this auction go towards our needs-based Nicholas Missere Bursary Fund which is accessed each year by a number of campers and also helps with the costs of running educational programs throughout the year. Art and hand made crafts, composed songs and tunes, concerts, services, disservices, massages, dinner, babysitting, hair braiding, holidays, etc. are some of the items auctioned at this much-looked-forward-to annual event. Click on the photos to see just a couple of this years items up for grabs – a stone carving by Benoit Schryer Lefebvre (recent graduate of the Heritage Stonemasonry Program at Algonquin College, Perth) and an original painting “Square Dance at the Old Van Gogh Place” by Ian Bell, a musician, artist, singer, songwriter and all-round renaissance man who has been a performer/instructor at AlgomaTrad.
