Hey, folks

We are having a great time out here on the road, lots of fun gigs, great hosts, and the audiences have been really receptive…still a few to go, so if you are near Cobourg, Kettleby, or Toronto, you still have a chance to check us out…venues and locations on the website or at The O’Schraves Facebook page.

In the meantime, it’s time for the SECOND ANNUAL ALGOMATRAD TRIVIA NIGHT FUNDRAISER.  We had a blast last year, competition was fierce and we had a 3-way playoff for the final bragging rights. So, drop us a line and c’mon out for a night of trivial fun. Here’s the scoop:

The AlgomaTrad Trivia Fun-raiser is a night of friendship and friendly competition with the goal of raising money for the AlgomaTrad Music, Dance and Arts Camp.  We hope you will join us to make it a success!

Here’s how it works:

Buy a table for $150.00 and then split the cost by selling spots at your table to your friends.  A table can hold a maximum of 10

people who will compete as a team in a trivia challenge featuring a few questions about Algoma (this will be different from last year, which had an exclusive focus on Algoma).  Teams will provide answers in writing on a response sheet and scored; the scores will be tallied between each round so you can see how your team is doing as the evening progresses.   There will be five (5) rounds of ten (10) questions each. The winning team will have the highest score over all the rounds.  If you don’t have a table but still want to sign up as an individual or smaller group we will make up groups of 10 for you.

Prizes:

The winning team gets bragging rights and their names engraved on a special AlgomaTrad Trivia trophy, which they can

keep in their possession until the next trivia challenge.  Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.

Food and Drink: 

Each table will be treated to  a veggie tray & popcorn to start the evening.  There will be a cash bar stocked with wine, beer, pop & water. A mid-event snack will also be served – TBA.

Where:  Bar River Hall, 14 Lapish Rd, Downtown Bar River

When:  Saturday, April 5^th

Time:  Doors open at 6:30pm.  Trivia game begins at 7:30pm.

Cost:  $150.00/table.  $15/individual.
