AlgomaTrad announces a 50/50 draw in support of the creation of the AlgomaTrad Centre on St. Joseph Island!

AlgomaTrad is a charitable arts organization dedicated to enriching lives and building joyful community through the celebration and sharing of  traditional music, dance, and heritage arts. Proceeds from the 50/50 draw will go towards developing the AlgomaTrad Centre for year-round classes, performances, community dances, concerts, festivals, and workshops. The AlgomaTrad Centre infrastructure project is well underway with support from several government funders and last year’s sucessful Fundrazr campaign – read and see what we’ve been up to!

When completed, the AlgomaTrad Centre will be a welcoming community space with programming and events for people of diverse ages, cultures, abilities, and interests. Since 2004, the annual AlgomaTrad Family Camp has been bringing people to St. Joseph Island from across Canada, the US, and beyond , and the AlgomaTrad Centre is building on that experience.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/algomatrad.  Ticket packages are $10 for 10 tickets, $20 for 60 tickets, $40 for 200 tickets, or —the best deal — $75 for 750 tickets.  Ticket buyers must be 18 years of age or older and in the province of Ontario to play.

Get your tickets early so you don’t miss out. Even if you don’t win the jackpot, you still win by helping build the AlgomaTrad Centre and bringing opportunity and cultural enrichment to Northern Ontario. The winner will be drawn on October 10.

A big thank you to all who support AlgomaTrad through this 50/50 draw!  License #RAF1265336
