Auction 2021 – Call for Items!

single post

Hello all you wonderful AlgomaTraders!

We are so excited that AlgomaTrad is returning to in-person classes under the guidelines of the Algoma Public Health Unit.  For those who are able, it will be wonderful to gather at the site once again!

Camp details are still being worked out, but there is one thing for certain: we will be holding another fabulous on-line AlgomaTrad auction!  Everyone can take part in the merriment, even if they are not able to attend camp in person. Just like last year, it will be a fun and exciting silent auction with ample time to peruse the tempting items and engage in lively bidding.

This is a call for auction items!  Do you have a skill and can provide on-line lessons? Do you have a cottage that another family could enjoy for a night or two? Do you have a service you could offer? Do you have a connection to a museum or business that could offer a service or opportunity? Please let us know by Saturday, July 31st.

We are planning to auction about 20 items, so we will not be able to include the smaller items we normally would include at camp. Although we can mail some items, in order to keep costs down we are especially looking for offerings that don’t need to be mailed.

The AlgomaTrad Auction helps to raise essential funds for the Nicholas Missere Bursary Fund and to help offset costs from camp.  Your generous auction items (as well as your exuberant bidding) are greatly, deeply appreciated!

If you have an offering or an idea for the auction, please email Barb as soon as possible at barb@algomatrad.ca

Thank you very much!
