“The Rivers Speak” Community Casting Call

single post

Thinking Rock Community Arts (TRCA) will be holding community castings for the Rivers Speak Community Play THIS WEEK in Blind River, Elliot Lake, Mississaugi First Nation and Serpent River First Nation (for dates and locations click on the image).  The Rivers Speak Community Play has been workshopped for the last 3 years at the AlgomaTrad Family Camp and our own James Stephens is musical director. AlgomaTrad and TRCA received a joint grant from the Canada Council for the Arts to develop music for the Rivers Speak community play.

This is the time for people of all ages, skill levels and abilities to join the project as performers or behind the scenes makers.  It would be great if you could share this information with your colleagues, friends and family!

People of all ages and skill levels are welcome, and everyone who wants to participate will have the chance in whatever way feels best to them!

If you want to know more info about the Rivers Speak production, occurring September 6-9th and 13-16th, 6pm, at the Misswezhaging (Mississaugi FN) Pow Wow Grounds, click on the image to the right.
